CeBIT global conferences

In a new first, the event will run on all five days of the CeBIT show. We have just released the freshly updated EITO Special Report "BRIC countries' ICT markets 2006 - 2010".
The study contains detailed market data including market values and shipment figures, as well as accompanying texts for all individual BRIC countries: Brazil, Russia, India, China. Global conferences
  Live in the conference room and on the Internet: Leading ICT experts from across the globe will convene at the CeBIT Global Conferences in Hannover, Germany from 2 to 6 March 2010 to discuss the major trends and challenges confronting the industry. In a new first, the event will run on all five days of the CeBIT show. The slogan of the CeBIT Global Conferences in 2010 is "The challenges of a changing world - ICT for better lives and better business."

Geared to decision-makers from the ICT industry and its user industries as well as ICT enthusiasts of all types, the CeBIT Global Conferences take place for third time in 2010. Attendance is free of charge for CeBIT visitors. The organizers of the CeBIT Global Conferences, Deutsche Messe AG and the BITKOM association, have reacted to the success of the last two events by expanding the program.
 

Spotlight on topics of entrepreneurial and social relevance


Each day of the conference features a primary theme. On Tuesday, opening day of CeBIT, the focus will be on "Challenges as Opportunities", while Wednesday's sessions runs under the heading of "Smart Business 2020". On Thursday the spotlight will be on "Consumer Electronics & Mobile Solutions", while Friday features the major CeBIT theme of "Connected Worlds".

The program is rounded off by a series of exclusive Round Tables dedicated to discussing open questions, consisting of face-to-face chats with up to 15 participants each.

For the first time the CeBIT Global Conferences will also take place on Saturday, with the spotlight on "@music: About Artists, Consumers and Pirates". This section of the conference is geared to online music dealers, independent as well as major labels, operator platforms, performing artists and unconventional thinkers.
