Intellect is now official EITO partner

Another milestone in successful development of EITO: Intellect, the leading British ICT industry association, now is co-operating with EITO as an official EITO partner. Intellect brings its expertise into the EITO Task Force and will thus help to further strengthen the role of the Task Force in evaluating EITO content and driving the project.

The next meeting of the international EITO Task Force will take place on 9 October 2008. On invitation of the OECD, the EITO Task Force will meet to discuss the autumn update of EITO market data including forecasts for 2009.

Another global player in telecoms has evinced his commitment to EITO: Deutsche Telekom AG Headquarters in Bonn, Germany, has decided to join the EITO Task Force and become a gold sponsor of the project. We are very pleased to have the biggest telecommunication service provider of Germany and one of the largest worldwide contributing to the project.

New EITO Partner
Intellect is now official EITO partner

Intellect

 

Another milestone in successful development of EITO: Intellect, the leading British ICT industry association, now is co-operating with EITO as an official EITO partner. Intellect brings its expertise into the EITO Task Force and will thus help to further strengthen the role of the Task Force in evaluating EITO content and driving the project.

Intellect is UK's largest and most diverse technology trade body and incorporates more than 750 member companies, who represent 10% of UK GDP and over one million jobs. The members come from all corners of the technology industry including software and IT services, telecommunications and electronics.

HD-TV summit
HD-TV across Europe

14-15, 2008

The German Association for Information Technology, Telecommunications and New Media – BITKOM – and its UK based sister trade association Intellect will devote a 2-day international summit forum to the topic of “HD-TV across Europe“. The overall objective will be to paint a pan European picture of the High-Definition TV market situation and the status of technology.

EITO Task Force
Next EITO Task Force meeting on October 9, 2008, in Paris

  The next meeting of the international EITO Task Force will take place on 9 October 2008. On invitation of the OECD, the EITO Task Force will meet to discuss the autumn update of EITO market data including forecasts for 2009. One hot topic will be the impact on ICT markets of the economic slowdown and the fall-out from the credit crunch.
The EITO Task Force gathers ICT market experts from various European countries, the OECD and the EU Commission.
