New Carrier Services market indicators: Number of subscribers

There is data available in the Carrier Services segment. Following data is included now for all EITO countries:

• ADSL subscribers
• Cable modem subscribers
• FTTx (other broadband) subscribers
• 2G subscribers
• 3G subscribers
• VoIP subscribers
• Cable TV subscribers
• Satellite TV subscribers
• TVoIP subscribers
• Digital TV subscribers

Also following data of internet users is included for 2007:

• Number of internet users
• Number and % of internet users, who purchase online
• Number and % of internet users, who communicate online

The data is displayed in a table containing values for the years 2005-2007 and growth rates in %. All 1-year-subscribers can access the data now in the member section of the portal.

General terms and conditions of te EITO portal become effective on October 1, 2008

____________________________________________________________________________

Due to a change in our portal server system we had to amend the general terms and conditions of the EITO Portal. The most important change is, that orders cannot be placed anymore by consumers within the meaning of Section 13 of the German Civil Code (Bürgerliches Gesetzbuch) living outside the European Union. This means that you will need to use a company adress if you woudl like to purchase reports if you live outside of the EU. Also the revocation instructions in §4 have been adapted to the sample provided by the German government (it was recommended to apply the new rules).
